Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong customer, team, and vendor relationships for the 3PL
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations including but not limited to - building loads, tracking/tracing, scheduling shipments, issue resolution, continuous improvement opportunities to ensure processes remain efficient
• Ensure all required shipping documentation is prepared accurately
• Work alongside the manager to develop the team & best practices
• Serve as an additional escalation with team members and assist/coach problem-solving techniques
• Provide expertise on spot quoting opportunities
• Work to provide continuous improvements and creative solutions in a fast-paced 3PL brokerage environment
• Support sales with customer presentations when needed
• Create & maintain customer reporting and KPI analytics
• Assist with cost negotiation on shipments for spot and contracted freight
• Collaborate with both carriers and sales teams
• Continue to follow and update standard operating procedures for designated accounts

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• 3+ years of experience in the 3PL brokerage logistics and supply chain industry, preferably with a leadership background
• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Customer-facing LTL experience with a deep understanding of Tariffs, Density, CSP Food/Beverage, Retail, CPG
• Experience working with multistop truckload planning and operations
• Carrier knowledge is preferred but not required
• Routing guide/lane development - LTL, and selling consolidation efforts
• Must be well-organized and detail oriented
• Display solid organizational and proactive skills
• Possess professional phone and email mannerisms - Looking for enthusiastic, confident attributes

• Team player mentality with a self-starter attitude
