Associate Attorney (Personal Injury - Plaintiff)

About the Role:
Our client, a prominent law firm with a strong focus on complex litigation, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Atlanta, GA office. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior attorneys on high-stakes cases involving catastrophic injuries or wrongful death. Case types include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and medical malpractice.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will:
- Collaborate closely with a senior attorney to manage complex litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs to support case development.
- Assist in all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and depositions.
- Engage with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to facilitate case progress.
- Participate in strategy discussions, trial preparation, and attend mediations, hearings, and trials as necessary.
- Ensure timely updates and organization of case files in the firm's management system.
Candidate Profile:
Our client is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience (preferably with some defense work). Candidates with a defense background who are looking to transition to plaintiff-side litigation are encouraged to apply.
- Education: A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensure: Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
