Our client, a designer and manufacturer of components for the global motor vehicle industry, is looking for an Applications Engineer - Suspension to join their team in Plymouth, MI.

Responsibilities

The Applications Engineer is responsible for managing and driving R&D projects on Suspension Components from ideation to market implementation:

• Manage product specifications and CAD/CAE modeling
• Coordinate parts fabrication and testing for concept validation
• Develop technical benchmark and competitor analysis
• Contribute to idea creation activities and drive new technology
• Support R&D team with development
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an engineering field
• 8+ years of experience in automotive suspension product development
• Skilled in 3D CAD programs and structural analysis programs CAE
