The Human Resource Generalist will implement human resources processes and programs and provide professional services to all associates in a fair and equal manner to meet the needs of the facility. You’ll get to:nnProvides a full range of day-to-day HR support for the business unit including staffing, recruiting/onboarding, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, benefits, compensation, and training & development.nnWork together with the HR team, employees, supervisors, and managers to resolve employee relations issues as they arise, including partnering with HR Manager on investigations; Counsels employees to improve or correct performance issues and deficienciesnnLead daily meetings with staffing agencies and manufacturing supervisors/teams to determine appropriate staffing levels to meet manpower requirementsnnAssist with leading employee engagement activities (e.g. community outreach, fundraisers, focus groups)nnAssist with preparing reports and metrics to measure human resource-related functions such as collecting and reporting on statistical data such as turnover, diversity, new hires, transfers etc. for monthly and quarterly reviewnnTrack employee time and attendance, and/or other related approvals using the appropriate software (e.g. Kronos, Workday)nnResolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashionnnReceive, record, and process daily call-off informationnnConsult with employees to resolve benefit/payroll/LOA issues as they arisennTraining management (i.e. verify ISO training and document retention for internal/external audits)nnProcess, file, and maintain employment records according to federal, state, and local regulationsnnAttend department, hourly, and salaried meetings as requirednnUnderstands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfullynnOther departmental tasks as assignednnThe Person:nnYou love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
