Job Description

Our esteemed client, a forerunner in the education technology sector, is actively seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer, specializing in .NET and Core technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer to reshape and enhance educational experiences through technology.


Note: This position requires the successful candidate to work from the Edmonton office five days a week.


Role Summary:

The successful candidate will utilize their wealth of expertise in .NET C#, DevOps CI/CD practices, as well as modern front-end frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular. They'll play a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our client's software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET Core and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Implement and integrate Web API 2.0 (Core 5.3.0) services.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server and Oracle queries.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of sensitive educational data, adhering to industry standards and regulations.


Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of .NET and Core technologies
  • Proven experience with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular or similar
  • Strong knowledge of Web API 2.0 (Core 5.3.0)
  • Proficiency in Dapper, SQL Server, LinqToSql, and Oracle databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
