This Director role requires someone currently living in the Bay Area who can commute to Berkeley 3 days/week.

Are you interested in a Director of Finance opportunity at a publicly traded Biopharma company in the East Bay? This Director will manage and lead the global FP&A activities for the local Division, support the SVP of Manufacturing operations, and will have financial responsibility over 5 locations.

**Hybrid schedule in Berkeley, CA

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A processes for all of the Division’s plants for their manufacturing, quality and facilities, including preparation of reporting packages, analyzing performance metrics, long range planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Provide dedicated financial support to Controllers at the locations, lead financial reviews at monthly management meetings, lead monthly Controllers’ calls.
• Work closely with the business to assist in the control and optimization of inventory levels, manufacturing/scrap costs, and supply chain expense.
• Coordinate with Corporate functions (Procurement, Facilities, IT, etc.) to ensure reasonableness of services and allocations.
• Lead or support strategic and non-organic growth projects as necessary (acquisition and integration of new businesses, divestiture and separation of existing businesses, system implementation).
• Lead and develop a team of 5+ people

Qualifications

• Director or strong Senior Manager coming from an international/large publicly traded MANUFACTURING company that is on SAP
• Finance and Accounting experience that includes Cost Controlling experience
• 4+ years of management experience
• MBA or Masters in Finance
• Power BI experience is a strong Plus
