About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Institutional Advancement to serve as the chief advancement officer, responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of development and fundraising initiatives. The successful candidate will be the principal architect of the company's development plan, working with internal and external constituencies to ensure that the program is in line with the company's mission and strategic goals. This role involves leading the planning and implementation of comprehensive fundraising programs, including capital campaigns, and fostering a culture of philanthropy. The Vice President will also be tasked with maintaining a dynamic portfolio of high-level prospects, mentoring and supervising staff, and ensuring the success of the advancement program.Candidates for the Vice President for Institutional Advancement position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in higher education philanthropy, with a proven track record of fundraising success. The role requires exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, a commitment to educational excellence, and a deep understanding of current fundraising methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a thoughtful leader with the ability to work collaboratively and represent the company with professionalism. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. The role demands a high level of energy, creativity, and a positive spirit, as well as the ability to travel frequently for donor engagement.
