On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Interim Manager of Applications for a 3-month onsite contract in Edmonton. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead an Application Services team during a transitional period, ensuring operational continuity, driving key projects, and fostering team stability.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Technology Services, the Interim Manager will oversee the ongoing migration of custom-built applications from ColdFusion to Laravel, while providing leadership and support to the Application Services team. This position requires a proactive, hands-on IT leader with a proven track record in managing teams, resolving technical challenges, and delivering results under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the migration of custom-built applications from ColdFusion to Laravel.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve operational challenges.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and team performance to senior leadership.
• Document key processes, project outcomes, and recommendations for a seamless handover to the returning manager.
