The Opportunity:
ML6 is pleased to be partnering with a leading healthcare organization in their search for a Senior Manager, Operations Finance to join their growing team. Reporting to the VP Finance, Business Partnering, you will directly support and drive growth by managing the clinic finance planning function. This is a highly visible role and the ideal candidate should thrive in the business partnering environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Deliver insightful financial strategies to support clinic growth and enhance overall company profitability.
- Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process for each clinic, aligning with targets set by the Corporate FP&A team.
Business Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Chief Operating Officer and regional leadership, offering strategic direction and expertise.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to identify business challenges and drive solutions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to enhance performance and optimize labor costs.
- Provide financial support to Joint Venture Partners through quarterly performance reviews of their clinics.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Manage comprehensive financial analyses, including variance, trend, and scenario planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement KPIs to evaluate clinic performance and guide decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while uncovering growth opportunities.
- Promote ongoing enhancements in financial systems and processes.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of four Senior Financial Analysts, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Equip the team with the tools and skills needed to excel in their roles.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience with a focus on FP&A
- Strong business acumen and understanding of key financial and operational drivers
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to present at all levels of management
- CFA or CPA designation would be an asset
