Job Title: Informatica Developer

Location: Hybrid in Jersey City (3 days a week)

Contract Duration: 18 Months

Compensation: $64-$67/hour

A leading financial client is seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement ETL processes using Informatica and/or Oracle PL/SQL in a large data warehouse environment.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
• Lead server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects to ensure seamless system integration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices.
• Provide expertise in project management when required.
• Deliver data integration solution designs and implementations with precision.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Informatica development experience.
• Experience with cloud migration projects and Informatica upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles.
• Solid understanding of trading technologies; familiarity with SURVEIL-X (cloud version of Actimize) is a huge plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle/PL SQL and Unix shell scripting .
• Expertise in data quality approaches and techniques .
• Strong experience with server updates and performance tuning .
• Agile development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services/banking experience, with a focus on compliance, regulatory reporting, or fraud detection.
• Hands-on experience with build release orchestration tools .
• Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to develop Informatica repository queries.
• Experience working on large-scale projects involving cross-functional, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 7+ years of data analysis experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
