Job Title: Informatica Developer
Location: Hybrid in Jersey City (3 days a week)
Contract Duration: 18 Months
Compensation: $64-$67/hour

A leading financial client is seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cloud migration projects, data warehousing, and cutting-edge trading technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement ETL processes using Informatica and/or Oracle PL/SQL in a large data warehouse environment.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
- Lead server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects to ensure seamless system integration.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues.
- Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices.
- Provide expertise in project management when required.
- Deliver data integration solution designs and implementations with precision.
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on Informatica development experience.
- Experience with cloud migration projects and Informatica upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles.
- Solid understanding of trading technologies; familiarity with SURVEIL-X (cloud version of Actimize) is a huge plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle/PL SQL and Unix shell scripting .
- Expertise in data quality approaches and techniques .
- Strong experience with server updates and performance tuning .
- Agile development experience.
Preferred Skills
- Financial services/banking experience, with a focus on compliance, regulatory reporting, or fraud detection.
- Hands-on experience with build release orchestration tools .
- Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to develop Informatica repository queries.
- Experience working on large-scale projects involving cross-functional, nearshore, and offshore teams.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 7+ years of data analysis experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
