Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team and support a leading financial client in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid role with a 12-18 month contract duration, offering a competitive pay range of $60-62/hr .
As a Technical Project Manager , you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end technology solutions while adhering to Enterprise Project Standards for planning, execution, and control. This role supports the Merchant Program Management Office , a high-profile program driving revenue growth through innovative products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate routines to support the delivery of technology solutions (e.g., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates).
- Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple technology teams.
- Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.
- Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverables and timelines.
- Gather and provide project updates to stakeholders and leadership, including risks/issues and schedules.
- Ensure alignment of execution with deliverable requirements by collaborating with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Identify emerging risks/issues and escalate as needed while ensuring alignment with the critical path.
- Execute financial management routines to deliver against financial commitments.
- Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards and maintain accurate documentation and evidence.
- Support resource planning for delivery and execution.
- Utilize MS Excel to ensure cost reconciliation with other systems of record.
Top Required Skills:
- 3-5+ years of experience managing technology projects using SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall).
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Previous banking experience leading large-scale change initiatives preferred.
