Role Summary:

The Business Development Associate will support the Business Development Manager in driving strategic growth and ensuring operational excellence. This dynamic role combines administrative efficiency, client relationship management, and strategic engagement with retail partners to amplify the success of Vantage Point’s brands. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and possesses exceptional social and networking skills with strong industry connections to cultivate impactful relationships, with a keen understanding of the cannabis flower to help elevate Vantage Point’s market presence.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
  • Assist in compiling, maintaining, and analyzing business development reports and performance metrics.
  • Track sales data, client interactions, and other relevant KPIs to inform strategic decisions, including CRM management.
  1. On-Site Client Engagement:
  • Oversee point-of-sale (POS) transactions with trusted clients during on-site visits.
  • Ensure seamless execution of transactions and uphold premium brand standards.
  1. Business Development:
  • Research and identify prospective retail accounts to expand Vantage Point's wholesale program.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, emphasizing mutual growth and collaboration.
  1. Client Communication & Media Management:
  • Manage communication and media channels to keep clients informed and engaged with outward weekly marketing.
  • Update and maintain the client database with accurate and timely information.
  1. Brand Advocacy:
  • Represent Vantage Point and its brands at industry events, trade shows, and retail partner meetings.
  • Champion Vantage Point’s mission and values to external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years in business development, sales, client relations, or related roles; cannabis industry experience is a must, including deep knowledge of cannabis flower, quality, and genetics.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional networking, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and POS systems.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with cannabis regulations, retail dynamics, and market trends preferred.
  • Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to exceed expectations.
