Job Description for the Benefits Administrator:
- Assist employees in navigating the open enrollment process and ensure a smooth transition to new benefits plans.
- Support 401k and benefits audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all related processes.
- Process and reconcile invoices from both union and non-union vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Serve as the go-to expert for benefits-related questions, helping employees with issues related to medical, dental, life, and disability benefits.
- Handle qualifying life events, such as adding dependents, and work with third-party vendors to ensure benefits are updated accordingly.
Job Requirements for the Benefits Administrator:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Benefits Administration at a large company (2K+ employees), with a preference for unionized environments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- Strong intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and pivot tables, to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Experience working with union benefits is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of related terminology and regulations.
- Ability to work well within a team, communicate effectively with employees and HR partners, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
