Contracts Administrator – Shared Services – Accounting Department


Place Services, Inc. has an immediate need for a Contracts Administrator to be based out of our Canton, GA office location.

What You’ll Do:


  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to subcontractor agreements, vendor agreements, and client contracts.
  • Ensure contracts adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage contract modifications, extensions, and renewals as necessary.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and deadlines.
  • Track and document changes to contracts, including amendments and deviations.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel to resolve any contractual issues or disputes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the contract process.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and finance departments to ensure alignment on contract requirements and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract files and records.
  • Track key contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations.
  • Prepare reports and summaries on contract status and performance as needed.
  • Identify potential risks and liabilities associated with contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor insurance and bonding requirements for contracts and ensure compliance.

What You Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contract Manager, or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, contract negotiation, and contract management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, and industry-specific terms and practices.
  • Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, CCCM) is a plus.
