Job Responsibilities:
Design and select workholding solutions for complex parts
Develop and optimize CAM programming for 4/5 axis machining
Perform machining process simulations
Collaborate with Quality Control on inspection processes
Support shop floor personnel during part launches
Engineer end-to-end machining processes
Utilize Mastercam for simultaneous 5-axis milling
Implement modern cutting tool and toolholding systems
Interpret complex blueprints using GD&T
Apply strong mathematical skills to solve engineering challenges
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
Extensive experience in complex workholding design
Proven proficiency in Mastercam for 5-axis milling
Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
Experience with hard metal machining
Vericut experience preferred
CAD software experience (e.g., SolidWorks) beneficial
