The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function to ensure the organization attracts, develops, retains, and engages talent while fostering a culture aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values. This role involves strategic leadership, policy development, and operational management of HR activities.
Strategic Leadership & Learning & Development
- Manages annual performance reviews process & oversight of execution
- Oversight & support of performance improvement plans & coaching for success
- Growth, development & succession planning
- Employee personnel file management in accordance with company & regulatory guidelines
- Analyze workforce data to provide insights & recommendations to executive leadership
- Participation in national and local events to support relevant knowledge in the field of Human Resources
Employee Relations
- Serve as employee engagement champion, executing activities and plans of action in identified opportunity areas to drive targeted improvement in Net Promoter Score (NPS) and employee engagement
- Growth Committee member providing employee capacity and recruiting status updates
- Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
- Enforce HR policies and procedures in conjunction with leadership
HR Operations
- Oversee HR systems & partner with PEO provider as system administrator
- Develop & maintain HR policies, procedures & documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws & market trends in total rewards
- Manage accommodations requests in partnership with applicable leadership and Chief Compliance Officer
- Consistent and timely documentation and record-keeping
- Oversight of all recruiting activities
Skills Necessary:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are a must
- Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to implement strategies to boost company’s productivity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resource Management or related field
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience working in Human Resource Management or related field
- Experience working with a B-Impact company preferred
