Our partner has 40+ years of manufacturing products for several industries including automotive, construction, utility, mining, logging, and other industrial industries. We are currently looking for a Director of Human Resources . This position will be located at their headquarters in Northwest Iowa . This person will oversee multiple plants and a group of 250+ team members. The Director of Human Resources will play a key role in strategic growth plans especially for hiring and promoting process improvements in culture.
Duties:
• Administrating and overseeing HR related programs
• Actively involved in growth plans to attract, hire, and develop employees
• Strategically and tactically build and maintain a favorable employee environment
• Provides counsel to leadership team on: career planning, discipline, training, etc.
• Oversee the safety/compliance programs
• Direct programs designed to involve employees and build employee loyalty and team spirit
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree and/or certifications preferred
• 5-10 years HR leadership experience
• Proven experience growing an organization and promoting successful hiring strategies
• Proven experience promoting a favorable employee work culture
• Proven ability in: leadership, vision, company structure, engagement, attention to detail, and departmental organization
• Manufacturing experience helpful but not required
