Job Title:

Legal Assistant - Personal Injury Pre-Litigation
The Wilshire Law Firm , a distinguished and award-winning legal practice with over 15 years of experience, specializes in Personal Injury , Employee Rights , and Consumer Class Action lawsuits. We are committed to excellence and justice, united in our dedication to achieving the best outcome for our clients.
In this role, you will assist Paralegals and Attorneys in progressing wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases through pre-litigation.

Compensation:

• $45,000 - $65,000, depending on experience
• This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare documents for filing.
• Draft complaints and minor's compromises.
• Understand and monitor court deadlines and statute of limitations.
• Communicate with clients effectively and courteously.
• Prioritize and complete tasks timely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) of experience drafting complaints.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience working in Personal Injury law is highly valued.
• Type at least 40 WPM.
