Overview of the Director of Accounting

Role: Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, including a staff of ten Prepare detailed departmental budgets, collaborating cross-functionally Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow forecasts, and cash flow analysis Direct month-end close, review journal entries and account reconciliations, and prepare financial statements Coordinate with external auditors at year-end Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Accounting

role: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, MBA or CPA preferred Minimum five years of supervisory experience in a senior-level accounting role Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, familiarity with major ERP systems Prior experience implementing an ERP system Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization

Location: This role is 100% onsite in South Bend, IN Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 depending on experience
