Akkodis is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Application for a Contract position with a client located in Houston, TX (Onsite).

Base Pay Range

$76.00/hr - $86.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Amazon DCV (Desktop Cloud Visualization), AWS ParallelCluster, and Linux/Windows VDI management for high-performance computing (HPC) and 3D visualization workflows.
• Resource will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining Amazon DCV pools for shared Linux VDIs and supporting visualization nodes for seismic workflows.
• They will also handle external access via Amazon DCV Connection Gateway and implement naming conventions/standards in the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, configure, and maintain Amazon DCV for both Windows and Linux VDIs.
• Manage Amazon DCV pools for shared Linux VDIs.
• Integrate DCV naming conventions/standards across the infrastructure.
• Customize and maintain Windows images with AWS Parallel Cluster for 3D visualization workflows.
• Set up and support Linux visualization VDIs for HPC seismic workflows.
• Implement and manage Amazon DCV Connection Gateway for external access to the environment.
• Create, implement, and enforce DCV OS standards.

Rate Range: $76- $86/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
