Akkodis is seeking a Network Security Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX (hybrid). Ideally looking for someone with experience in Network routing, switching, security, SD-Wan, and Aruba wireless.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $72/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

1. Advanced knowledge of and experience with networking technologies, concepts, and protocols, including but not limited to TCP/IP, routing, switching, IPAM, DNS, DDNS, DHCP, F5 GTM / LTM, SSH, VPN, Internet Proxy, IPS, IDS, IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS.
2. Experience with Routing, Quality of Service, Netflow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, virtual networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Malware Prevention.
3. IPv4 and IPv6 experience is a must.
4. Knowledge, skills, and experience with Aruba routing, switching, and wireless hardware, software, and protocols including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Aruba Instant Aps, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Central, Aruba Activate, Security, and Aruba ClearPass.
5. Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
6. Experience in firewall design, configuration, and in network security including: Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls, and IPSec, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection.
