This role involves daily oversight of operating departments, conducting staff meetings and training sessions, and maintaining the integrity of the hotel. The Managing Director will also play a key role in the hotel's sales efforts, including client interactions and will be expected to uphold the company's standards in all aspects of hotel operations.Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have at least 6 years of progressive experience in the hotel industry or a related field, with a preference for those with a background in lifestyle hotels. The role requires a hands-on approach, including regular inspections of the property, and a commitment to employee development and training. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, multitasking, and maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. They must be effective communicators, able to interact with all levels of staff and guests in a service-oriented manner, and be capable of upholding the company's standards and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hotel.
