We are hiring a Sales Coordinator for a valued client in Pacoima, CA within the construction industry. The Sales Coordinator role is a blend of administrative support and communication, acting as a bridge between the sales and dispatch teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a hands-on approach, including occasional physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between Project Managers and the Dispatch team, ensuring seamless communication and attention to detail.
- Maintain and update records and project data using tools like Smartsheet in collaboration with branch management.
- Collect and organize documentation for project submittals at the branch level.
- Support the Sales team by updating work orders and jobs in the fleet management system.
- Create simple lift plans for jobs (training provided upon hire).
- Maintain the accuracy of customer databases, including contact information and job details.
- Notify stakeholders of service or logistical issues as they arise.
- Handle FAA permit submissions as required by Project Managers for specific orders.
- Provide regular updates on equipment availability, fleet additions, and project statuses to the Sales and Project Management teams.
- Organize and update branch records in shared platforms like DropBox.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, marketing, or general business is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to address internal and external needs promptly and professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft-based software and comfort with technical environments.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, especially under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a desire to grow in a sales-oriented career.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in construction management or related fields.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems or project documentation processes is a plus.
