  • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other electrical safety practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year as an Instrumentation Technician in an industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or similar high-tech industries preferred.
  • Education:
  • Associate degree or certification in Instrumentation Technology, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in terminating PLC signal cabling and interpreting technical documentation (I/O lists, schematics, cable schedules).
  • Thorough understanding of AC and DC drives, speed feedback devices, and temperature control components.
  • Strong knowledge of PID control loops and Ethernet communication protocols.
  • Skilled in navigating PLC and HMI systems, including program manipulation and driver setup.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical components and electronic devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with high-tech manufacturing environments, including cleanrooms.
  • NCCER or ISA certifications (e.g., CCST) are a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in diagnosing motors, drives, and electronic systems.
