LHH is partnering with an innovative software company in San Diego, that is constantly evolving to stay ahead in their industry to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity. Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes and will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Record payments and cut checks on a weekly basis.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Analyze and identify discrepancies in the accounts payable ledger.
- Process employee expense reports through Concur.
- Assist with the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare the accounts payable aging report.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in various projects as needed.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years in an Accounts Payable role
- Proficiency in NetSuite preferred (other similar software systems will be considered)
- Experience with Concur or similar expense management software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
