Temp to Perm Opportunity
Pay: $25-$28/hr.
Hours: 9AM-5PM- Onsite
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. This role will focus on processing and managing accounts payable tasks while supporting the implementation of efficient processes and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, organizational aptitude, and a commitment to collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming invoices with precision, ensuring proper coding, approval, and entry into the accounting system.
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist the Accounts Payable Specialist with tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing payment batches.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and vendor information, ensuring audit readiness.
- Contribute to monthly and yearly closing procedures related to accounts payable.
- Support the implementation of new AP procedures and technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Manage and code credit card charges using Ramp/Airbase, ensuring accurate expense representation in the financial system.
Education Requirements - High school diploma required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
Qualifications - 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with familiarity in accounting software.
- Experience with Ramp/Airbase or similar financial tools is highly desirable. Preference given to candidates with credit card charge coding experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
