Accounts Payable Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in the Sharonville area. Ideal candidates will have at least 1-3 years of accounts payable experience along with string data entry and Microsoft excel skills. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $24/hr. depending on experience.
Job Duties: - Accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
- Ensure all data is entered in a timely manner to meet payment deadlines.
- Verify invoice details, including amounts, dates, and vendor information.
- Review and process vendor invoices for payment.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
- Assist in month-end closing by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate accounts payable reports as needed.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and audits.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
