Company:

Construction company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to help support and round out their finance team. In this role you will work closely with the Director of FP&A to provide financial analysis to help guide larger business decisions, as well as manage budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of annual budgets and multi-year financial forecasts, including metrics for labor and acquisitions.
• Analyze potential business opportunities and their organizational impact while ensuring data accuracy in software systems.
• Prepare financial presentations for board meetings and senior management, integrating dashboards and analytics into reports.
• Collaborate with financial reporting during month-end close, focusing on SG&A reviews and compliance.
• Partner with IT to ensure proprietary software supports accurate data and robust reporting tools.
• Manage ad hoc projects and provide in-depth analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• BA in finance or accounting
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• Strong analytical abilities, with a critical thinking approach to navigate complex issues and make informed decisions.
• Effective data story teller, including preparation of presentations.
• Comfortable collaborating with non-financial stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Curious and highly goal driven.
