Job Title: Credit Card Product Data Analyst Consultant
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Credit Card Product Data Analyst Consultant to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. In this fully remote role, you will focus on analyzing data in the credit card product space, with a specific emphasis on pricing strategies, credit and underwriting model development, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAS and SQL and a proven ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to provide actionable business insights.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data related to pricing strategies for credit card products, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Extract and manipulate data from databases using SAS and SQL to prepare datasets for analysis.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of loan application, credit, and financial performance data to support business decision-making.
- Validate, cleanse, and manipulate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide insights and support for the development and analysis of credit and underwriting models.
- Perform credit strategy analysis to enhance credit reporting and optimize decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including credit, product, and underwriting groups, to achieve business goals.
- Present analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, must be in the credit card or financial services industry .
- Proven experience working in banking, financial services, or credit card products, ideally with institutions that focus on consumer lending, credit analysis, and underwriting (e.g., member-based financial institutions or large-scale retail banking organizations).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAS and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Familiarity with credit and underwriting model development/analysis.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- High attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy.
Soft Skills:
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

- Pay Rate: $50-$55 per hour (W2).
