Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales Manager at Emballage Saturn Packaging. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and building customer relationships. They will manage a portfolio of clients and generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking. The Sales Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and management, to provide tailored solutions to customers' packaging needs.
Responsibilities
- Key customer contact to promote various Saturn Packaging equipment
- Find new potential business
- Assess customer’s needs
- Follow up with customers
- Cold call potential customers
- Negotiates contracts
- Cultivates and maintains a professional and positive image
- Work as a liaison between the customer and engineering to develop the best project solutions and the best price
- Provide technical assistance during customer visits.
- Participation in company trade show(s)
- Work closely with management
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of selling capital equipment or machine/automation components (In the packaging industry or automated machinery, an asset)
- Knowledge in automation and packaging machinery such shrink wrapping/bundling, case packing, tray packing, labeling, stretch wrapping, conveying systems, etc..
- Proven experience in sales and account management
- Ability to communicate in English and in French
- Ability to interact well with clients
- Ability to deal with diverse personalities and maintain customer relationships
- Strong communication skills, technical sales and presentation skills
- High motivation and drive
- Goal-oriented mindset and ability to meet sales targets
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license'
