We specialize in a comprehensive range of corporate and business litigation matters. We are seeking a competent Litigation Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to lawyers and enhancing office effectiveness.
- Handling communication with clients, witnesses etc.
- Administratively supporting and attending trials.
- Preparing case briefs and summarizing depositions, interrogatories, and testimony.
- Conducting research and gathering relevant information to the case.
- Collecting, verifying and analyzing evidence such as records, medical records, and other case-related data.
- Organizing and updating case files and case tracking system.
- Assisting with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents.
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, court depositions, and hearings.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a litigation legal assistant in commercial law.
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols in the commercial litigation sector.
- Working knowledge of litigation management software is a plus.
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- High-level of proficiency in MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, able to work independently, and efficient in meeting deadlines.
Education:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Paralegal certification is a plus
Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation support or a similar role.
