About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to lead its internal legal function and serve as the primary liaison to external legal counsel. The successful candidate will be a key thought leader in managing the company's risk posture, supporting innovation and growth objectives, and ensuring full compliance with the law. This role requires the ability to navigate complex legal issues with exceptional judgment and ethics, as well as the capacity to accelerate routine legal matters and establish strong relationships with external legal partners. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating legal concepts clearly, and providing practical, solutions-focused risk mitigation strategies.Candidates for this position must be strongly motivated by the company's mission, have a do-what-it-takes mentality, and be committed to ethics and legal compliance. The role demands a high level of experience, with a focus on healthcare, and a strong understanding of compliance issues, particularly AKS/Stark law. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree, be an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and have at least 10 years of relevant professional legal experience. Expertise in areas such as pharmacy law, federal drug discount programs, and employment law is desired. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying legal challenges and proposing strategies that support positive outcomes for patients, partners, and the company.
