About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and counsel in the areas of commercial contracts, financial services, and the operating environment of financial institutions. This role involves working on a diverse mix of legal matters, with a focus on the company's various corporate charge card programs. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be expected to provide legal guidance in the negotiation and drafting of contracts, as well as to advise on strategic matters, defaults, and remedial options. The position requires a strong commitment to client service, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a proactive approach to legal issues.Applicants for the Senior Corporate Counsel position at the company should have a law degree and be licensed to practice law. A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a preference for those with a background in commercial contracts, financial services, and the payments or card product sectors, is required.
