Job Summary:

We are looking for motivated and results-driven Sales Representatives to join our client's team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers. You will promote their remanufactured and certified lab equipment, ensuring clients receive the best solutions for their research needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets within your designated territory (Boston or San Francisco).

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. Identify and address customer needs, offering tailored solutions from our client's product range.

  • Product Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our client's remanufactured and certified lab equipment, including its applications and benefits. Effectively communicate these features to customers.

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.

  • Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging in-person and virtual presentations to potential customers, demonstrating the value and reliability of our client's equipment. Instill confidence in their product remanufacturing capabilities and after-sales support.

  • Customer Support: Deliver exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. Collaborate with the customer support team to meet customer needs.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, sharing insights with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies.

  • Reporting: Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, market trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceuticals. Previous experience selling capital or lab equipment is highly preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.

  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and articulate the technical aspects of lab equipment. Familiarity with research workflows in academic and commercial labs.

  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel within your designated territory and occasionally to company headquarters or other locations for meetings or industry events.
