Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee customs entries and compliance for import shipments.
- Handle all aspects of FTZ operations, including filings, documentation, and compliance with regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact with CBP for audits, inquiries, and FTZ-related activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of customs documentation, including entries and declarations.
- Provide guidance to clients on customs regulations, FTZ compliance, and duty minimization strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on changes to customs laws, FTZ regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist with client onboarding and training related to FTZ processes.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Customs Broker License.
- Proven experience in customs brokerage and FTZ operations.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, tariff classifications, and import/export processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs software; knowledge of FTZ-specific platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
