Location: Medley, FL
Schedule: Full-time, in-office
Type of Contract: Permanent
Pay Rate: $19 - $21 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in Medley, FL. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls, screen and route them appropriately, and take detailed messages.
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly front-office environment.
Coordinate calendars, schedule appointments, and organize meetings.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries.
Maintain and replenish office supplies to support a well-functioning office environment.
Prepare and format correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office.
Organize and maintain files, records, and other critical documentation.
Support internal teams with clerical tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Ensure the office space is organized, clean, and welcoming.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in an administrative assistant or receptionist role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and using a computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
