ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships using a collaborative sales approach.
- Manage delivery schedules, address issues such as delivery errors and inventory shortages effectively.
- Communicate with clients to collect accounts receivable, coordinating with the credit department as needed.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and participation in industry events.
- Stay informed about market trends, product developments, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Travel regularly to meet with clients and prospects, which may require lifting and carrying items up to 75 lbs.
SUPERVISION: No direct reports.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly work in the field visiting customers in various weather conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and engage in cold calling for new business.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive spirit with a focus on achieving results.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent.
LICENSES
Valid driver's license required; must have a good motor vehicle record.

Compensation is based on experience and skills, typically ranging from $50,000 to $90,000, with eligibility for incentive pay. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
