ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build strong customer relationships within a collaborative sales team environment.
- Manage delivery schedules and troubleshoot any issues during the order process, ensuring seamless fulfillment.
- Communicate with customers to collect accounts receivable, collaborating with the credit department to resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities using market intelligence, business directories, and attendance at trade shows.
- Stay updated on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor offerings, sharing valuable insights with customers.
- Drive to visit customers and prospects, ensuring product delivery while handling items weighing up to 75 lbs.

RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal: Collaborate with District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact.
- External: Interact with customers, vendors, and prospective clients.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work frequently in the field visiting customers in varying weather and temperature conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred, especially in the foodservice or hospitality industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to cultivate relationships and develop new business through cold calling.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal capabilities.
- Competitive spirit with a results-driven attitude.
- Problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

COMPENSATION:
The expected base rate for this role ranges between $50K and $90K, with additional incentive compensation.
