About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP/Director of Sales to take on a pivotal role as the first sales hire, with a focus on full-cycle sales and supporting the CEO in the go-to-market strategy to ensure the company meets its revenue goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and pursuing new client relationships, leading sales engagements, and strategically mapping accounts to drive sales across multiple stakeholders. This role requires a data-driven approach to manage the sales pipeline, meet or exceed quotas, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions. The VP/Director of Sales will also be expected to stay informed of industry trends, maintain comprehensive customer records, and represent the company at industry events.Applicants for the VP/Director of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in B2B sales, with a preference for those with a background in the relevant industry. The role demands a proven track record of success in sales, experience in engaging with senior decision-makers, and a strong ability to build rapport and trust. The ideal candidate will have a history of successful solution-based sales, be adept at using CRM tools like Hubspot, and be willing to travel as needed. While not mandatory, experience in selling to law firms and/or legal executives is a plus. The role is suited to a professional with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, who is adept at managing and closing sales cycles and is committed to fostering long-term client partnerships.
