About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Sales to spearhead account acquisition, lead sales initiatives, and play a pivotal role in the company's expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with organizations and individuals to bring the company's offering to market on a large scale. This includes leveraging experience with C-Suite executives to assess partners, building strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and growing sales among key accounts. The role also involves targeting specific sectors, developing new opportunities, and nurturing existing relationships to ensure alignment with business goals.Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a degree from an educational institution or substantial relevant industry experience. While prior experience in lighting is not essential, a background in selling similar products or services with some technical knowledge is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build robust relationships and networks with key decision-makers, as well as the ability to proactively expand connections. Industry experience, particularly with a focus on sales, is preferred, along with a proven track record in both nurturing existing customer relationships and acquiring new business. The role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a detail-oriented and highly self-motivated approach, and a strong understanding of key drivers within the targeted sectors. The candidate should be highly effective working both independently and as part of a team.
