About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall sales results in the division, as well as the selection and retention of sales professionals to meet business plan goals. This role requires a strategic partner to the executive team, leading efforts in training, and sales structure, and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary technology tools and systems. The Vice President of Sales will also oversee the sales process, partner with the marketing team, and ensure that the company's values and culture are upheld. Key duties include providing guidance on work standards, leading sales meetings, and acting as the highest escalation leader for homebuyer concerns.Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company should have a 4-year bachelor's degree, with a preference for a degree from an accredited college or university. A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing a sales department within the homebuilding industry, and at least 5 years in a sales role, is required. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of managers, implementing and overseeing sales metrics, and be adept at coaching and training a sales team. Strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to handle high-volume situations with a strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential. Proficiency in computer skills, including sales software and Microsoft Office, is necessary, as is the ability to travel locally and a valid driver's license.
