We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee financial statement preparation, compliance, and regulatory reporting while ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial data.


Role Overview:

As the Financial Reporting Manager , you will be responsible for managing financial statement preparation, compliance with reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and supporting external audits . You will work closely with senior leadership, ensuring accurate and timely financial disclosures, while also driving process improvements and system efficiencies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process , ensuring compliance with IFRS or US GAAP .
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements , footnotes, and disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting obligations.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual external audit process , working closely with auditors.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Address audit findings and implement best practices for financial governance.
  • Ensure adherence to energy industry-specific financial regulations .
  • Stay up to date with accounting standards, regulatory changes, and financial reporting developments .
  • Enhance financial reporting systems and automation tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to streamline financial close and reporting cycles.
  • Work closely with finance, treasury, and operational teams to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial data and analysis.
  • Support financial planning initiatives, including budgeting and forecasting .


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of financial reporting experience, experience from public accounting is highly valued.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
