We are seeking a competent and dedicated litigation attorney with 2-5 years of practical experience to handle insurance coverage and commercial litigation matters for our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
2. Analyze insurance policy coverages and advise clients about coverage determinations.
3. Handle, examine, and manage claim-related issues, evaluate liability, damages, and potential settlement values.
4. Provide legal counsel and perform legal research.
5. Regularly communicate with clients and provide legal advice.
6. Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
7. Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
8. Attend court appearances and engage in negotiations with opposing parties.

Requirements:

1. 2-5 years of experience in litigation practice, particularly in insurance coverage and/or commercial litigation.
2. J.D. Degree from an ABA-accredited law school required.
3. Must be licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and researching skills.
6. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
