Your Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, client service focused team player to use their human resources knowledge and experience to enhance the employee experience at Cachet Homes.
We are looking for someone who will excel in a fast-paced, innovative, high growth environment and can leverage their excellent organizational and communication skills to support the employee life cycle at Cachet Homes. This role has the opportunity to grow in scope and accountability to become a true business partner in the organization and make a significant impact on the business as Cachet Homes scales.
Responsibilities:
- Provides effective human resources support and expertise to a diverse group of leaders and employees through all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Interpret and provide information on HR policies and practices, collective agreements, employment legislation, and coaching employees on workplace issues.
- Deliver full cycle recruitment including needs analysis, recruitment strategies, partnerships with educational institutions, creation of job descriptions, job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and employment offers.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team to create and publish HR focused content for LinkedIn and internal Employee Portal.
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding ensuring an excellent employee experience for all new hires.
- Maintain employee data and digital employee files with the HRIS system and take an active role in the development and implementation of new modules.
- Support and get involved in employee and labour relations, investigations, resignations, terminations, compensation, leaves, performance management, employee retention and recognition etc.
- Assist in facilitation of presentations and training programs for staff.
- Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of special projects and initiatives and/or assignments as required.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in Human Resources
- A Degree or Post Graduate Certification in Human Resources is preferred. A CHRP or CHRL is considered an asset.
- You have a working knowledge of Human Resource databases including HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment websites. Experience with Dayforce would be considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of a wide range of HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, HR administration, HRIS, employee relations, compensation principles, succession planning, performance management, policy design, employee engagement planning, and health & safety.
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- High level of accountability and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and friendly, with a demonstrated customer-centric orientation and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and problem solve various issues of a time sensitive or confidential nature
