About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Quality to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical quality and patient safety outcomes across the healthcare system, including inpatient and outpatient divisions, and community and post-discharge settings. This key leadership role involves leading an effective quality program, focusing on continuous improvement, readiness, and a culture of high reliability and safety. The AVP of Quality will also be accountable for population health objectives and managing the transition to a value-based payment environment. Applicants must be Master's prepared, with a preference for a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, and have at least 10 years of leadership experience in a healthcare system, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in quality, performance improvement, and patient safety. The role requires a strong leader with expertise in quality management, performance improvement, and patient safety, as well as excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving results, engaging in strategic initiatives, and promoting a culture of caring and professional conduct. Responsibilities include leading the quality and safety program, overseeing the infection prevention department, and managing the organization's readmission program.
