About the Role

The Company is in search of a Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs to serve as its chief academic officer and lead the institution in academic innovation and excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all instructional programs, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring that academic activities align with the company's mission, vision, and strategic goals. This key leadership role involves serving as the chief advisor on academic affairs, guiding faculty and academic leaders, and engaging in the development and assessment of an academic operating plan that prioritizes students' experiential learning and growth. The Provost will also be tasked with faculty and staff employment matters, monitoring shared governance, and directing academic affairs in accordance with relevant educational standards and state laws.Applicants for the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs position at the company must have an earned doctorate, a distinguished record in teaching, scholarship, and academic leadership, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in higher education administration. The role requires expertise in academic assessment, program review, curriculum development, and accreditation practices, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead change and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have experience in budget management, resource allocation, and strategic planning, and a commitment to the values of a liberal arts education.
