About the Role
The Company is seeking a Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs to serve as its chief academic officer and lead the strategic planning and programming of all academic activities. The successful candidate will be a mission-oriented, people-centered leader with a strong background in higher education administration, including at least three years' experience in a dean's position or higher. This role requires a leader with a passion for the company's mission, an understanding of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition and Catholic Social Teaching, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment. The Provost will be responsible for academic budget preparation, resource allocation, institutional effectiveness, and the overall quality of the curriculum and instruction. They must have a proven track record in developing and mentoring academic leaders, faculty, and staff, and be adept at managing a complex institution with a wide range of academic programs.Candidates for the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs position at the company should possess an earned doctorate and an academic record suitable for appointment at the rank of full professor. The role demands a leader with strong strategic planning skills, the ability to align the company's mission with its long-term goals, and a leadership style that is both consultative and decisive. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to a student-centered environment, a record of improving student outcomes, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in health professions education is preferred.
