About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Grants and Contracts with a strong background in research administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all sponsored activities comply with institutional, local, federal, and sponsor guidelines. This includes interpreting and providing guidance on regulations, overseeing the preparation and submission of grants and contracts, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Grants and Contracts and Business Office. The role also involves serving as a key institutional official, delivering pre-award and post-award services, and managing a team to ensure high standards of performance and compliance.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years experience in research administration, with a focus on pre and post-award management, and a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a complex academic research or healthcare setting. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree or JD preferred. The ideal candidate will have a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification and a strong background in federal and non-federal research compliance. Key skills include the ability to analyze data, develop new systems, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role demands a high level of technical competence in research administration tools and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
