About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Financial Reporting to provide executive leadership over the record-to-report (R2R) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and relevant development, analysis, and dissemination of financial and management information. This role involves driving system-wide standardization and implementation of world-class financial and managerial reporting capabilities, as well as monitoring local operations and advising on performance improvement programs. The CAO will also be accountable for system-wide accounting, financial reporting, financial applications, payroll, tax, and human resources finance support.Candidates for this position must have a thorough knowledge of healthcare finance, hospital operations, management reporting, and accounting, typically gained through 15 or more years of leadership experience in a large and complex organization. A CPA is required, along with a strong technical background in accounting and auditing. The role demands a leader with strong analytical skills, the ability to drive organizational change, and a proven track record in building high-performance teams. The CAO will be expected to have strong communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence and achieve results in a collaborative environment.
