About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Head of Enterprise Risk Management to lead its Second Line of Defense Enterprise Risk Management Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment, management of physical security, policy governance, and model risk management. This key leadership role involves ensuring that the company is effectively identifying, measuring, monitoring, and prioritizing the risks it faces. The SVP will also be the primary contact for all security-related responsibilities and will have oversight of the company's facilities manager. The role requires a minimum of 10 years' experience in enterprise risk management within the financial services industry, with a preference for those who have served as a senior leader in a publicly traded financial institution. Applicants for the SVP, Head of Enterprise Risk Management position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree being a bonus. Active industry-relevant certifications are also a bonus. The ideal candidate will have mastery of risk management frameworks such as COSO, NIST, and FFIEC, and proficiency in SEC rules and regulations. Experience in regulatory compliance risk, information technology risk, and financial and operational risk is essential. The role demands a professional with excellent communication skills, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a strong technical background in risk management. The SVP will be expected to maintain a professional relationship with the first and second lines of defense leaders and ensure that the company's risk management program is in compliance with all applicable banking regulations.
